Do I need to install anything?

No. GearCortex works in the browser on your phone and computer. There is an Android app, and diagnostics need an ordinary Bluetooth OBD adapter.

How do you know a record is genuine?

Every history record is signed with an Ed25519 key and chained to the previous one with SHA-256. Change one and the whole chain breaks. Share the history by link and anyone can verify it themselves.

What about my data?

It is yours. We do not sell it or show it to anyone. Plates, VINs and phone numbers are never sent to web searches for parts. You can export all of it in the settings.

Which cars are supported?

Any: records and the assistant do not depend on the make. Diagnostics read standard OBD-II, and more on some models, such as Mercedes on the CAN bus.

How much does it cost?
